Sunday June 22

2:30 PM  –  5:00 PM

Join us on Sunday, June 22, at 2:30 PM for Refuge & Resistance: The Role of Music During the Holocaust, an in-person performance by flutist Christine Beard.

During the Holocaust, music served as a way for prisoners to preserve their humanity, and as a tool of control for the Nazis.

Christine Beard's powerful lecture-recital brings these dual narratives to life through works by composers lost during the Holocaust. A dessert reception will follow the performance.
